In response to a suggestion from Dr Gordon Caldwell, director of Medical Education at Worthing hospital, and aware and concerned about anecdotal evidence of bullying and undue pressure on juniors to fill rota gaps, RemedyUK will launch its own diary monitoring exercise in early August.

Diary cards will shortly be downloadable from this page, and chapter and verse on what needs to be done and how you should do it will be available.
Inevitably, this raises the question of putting your head above the parapet. If you – collectively – don’t, very little will change. If you – collectively – do, you’ll have mutual support and the safety of numbers. But it has to start with your individual decision to do what you believe is right. |
