I am currently working as an ST2 in Anaesthetics at Cheltenham General Hospital having so far come through MMC / MTAS relatively unharmed. However, I have seen, and continue to see, the huge stress and anxiety that MMC causes amongst extremely hard-working professionals.Having worked in the NHS for over five years I have first hand experience of how undervalued doctors have become, with management giving no respect to our profession. Given the highly variable quality of support given by the BMA I feel that the continuing work of RemedyUK is important in giving ourselves some self-respect and dignity as a profession.
