The findings of a junior doctors' survey into the recruitment process for speciality training posts is being presented to the Scottish Government. The British Medical Association (BMA) said it is "crucial" that health bosses listen to the views of new doctors if the system is to improve.The Medical Training Application Service (MTAS) has been blamed for causing months of confusion and uncertainty for young medics applying for speciality posts. The "disasters" of this year's online application process must not be repeated, the BMA said. Read more .... |
