His personal nightmare is over. Nonetheless many of the underlying issues remain unresolved. 

Now the unfortunate individual has been removed from the debate the questionable processes that led to his suspension need to be closely scrutinised. This sequence of events must not be allowed to happen again. It has widened the gap between the "great and the good" and the grass-roots leaving the sour taste of distrust in everyone's mouth.
